August 27, 2019 by Dr. Denise O'Neil Green 1 Comment

A Conversation with Robin DiAngelo and Dr. Denise O'Neil GreenOn April 11, 2019, students, staff, and faculty joined Dr. Denise O’Neil Green for “Seeing the Racial Water: A Conversation with Robin DiAngelo”, a Dine and Discourse Lecture.  Robin DiAngelo is an Affiliate Associate Professor of Education at the University of Washington. Her work on White Fragility has influenced the international dialogue on race. In addition to her academic work, DiAngelo has been a consultant and trainer for over 20 years on issues of racial and social justice.

At Dine and Discourse sessions, Dr. Green and the Office of the Vice President Equity and Community Inclusion invites Ryerson University community members to hear expert guest speakers and engage in an interactive working lunch to further explore ideas. Discussions often focus on cultural and/or social topics that engage equity, diversity and inclusion issues at Ryerson.
