Ryerson University’s Soup and Substance Series: Fall 2014

Ryerson University logoThe Division of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at Ryerson University presents the Soup & Substance Series, a series of noon hour moderated panel discussions held at Podium (POD) 250 (unless otherwise noted).  While enjoying a warm bowl of soup and refreshments, participants will engage panelists in an open conversation on a range of diversity related topics.  Dr. Denise O’Neil Green, Assistant Vice President/Vice Provost of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), will moderate the series, which will be free and open to the public.

The Fall 2014 schedule is as followed:
Wednesday, October 29th
Women’s Ways of Leading: Explore how women in the academy lead, their successes and challenges.
Tecumseh Auditorium – SCC 115 (Located in the Oakham House)

Tuesday, November 18th
Teaching from the Margins (Part 1): Understanding the challenges of diverse, marginalized faculty in and out of the classroom.
Podium (POD) Room 250

Tuesday, December 16th
Where R U From? Questions and Encounters of Canadian Identities: Canadians share encounters that question their Canadian as well as other identities.
